Child Minders
Child Minders help with childcare during Ladies Groups, Conversation Circles, Citizenship Classes, etc.Primary Responsibilities
- Provide a safe and fun environment for children ages 0-5
- Enable newcomer moms to participate in special events and programming, knowing that their children are well cared for
Time Commitment
- 1-3 hours
- Once a week
Orientation, Training, and Support
- Additional training not required
- Regional Connections has a fully equipped child-minding space
Requirements
- Babysitter's course and/or valid experience
- A valid and current Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Registry form must be submitted prior to engaging with newcomers and children
- Keep private client information confidential
