Red River College - Winkler Campus

RRC Winkler offers:
  • Basic academic upgrading from Grades 5 to 12
  • Continued access to Manitoba's Mature Student High School Diploma
  • Prior Learning Assessment for credit
  • Dual Credited College courses/programs
  • Basic Literacy and Essential Skills Learning
The following courses are also offered:
  • Academic Foundations Math
  • Academic Foundations English
Basic Literacy and Essential Skills Initiative Options are available to complete the Mature Student High School Diploma and continue a post-secondary education.

Midland Adult Education Centre

The centre offers Senior 1 to Senior 4 credits to students wishing to complete a Mature Student Diploma, upgrade for post-secondary education, or improve employability skills. Upgrading/Literacy programming is available to those who would like to improve their reading, writing, or math skills to a high school level.

Morden Adult Education Centre

M.A.E.C. provides Senior 1 to Senior 4 Mature Student Diploma Program. On Line courses and PLAR available. Primarily independent study with some classroom delivery. Child care available on site.

Alternative Education Centre

An alternative classroom that supports adult learners as well as underage learners needing alternatives to the traditional high school setting.

Courses include:

  • Senior 1-4 core academic courses
  • computers
  • keyboarding
  • accounting
  • family studies

We also have continuous intake. Learning is self-directed. With the support of teachers and educational assistants, learners establish goals for their progress in courses. Choice is provided through activities, projects, and assessments. Base line computer training is available and is also an expectation for students at the Centre.
